at Relax4Life in Nov. I can't begin to tell you how much the whole
experience meant to me. It was definitely in the top 10 pinnacle
experiences of my 54 years. I was really scared and anxious, and you and
Jay did everything you could to make me feel safe and worthy. How could I
ever thank you adequately?

I was so glad to see that John will be a regular member of the team. He is
a great addition. He has a very calming effect on the whole experience.

"Thanks for giving me, again, the lesson of knowing myself somewhat better. Please know that I am fine---truly this is more about a strong sense of what I've come to "know" in my heart more than my mind that one must only enter the sacred space when ready---and ready can mean 1000 things. For me to be here in the earth sauna would not honor what you, Carol and Tom have lead me to learn. This is a time for solitude----this ol' soul needs quiet and rest. I'm glad I came out here today (even though I didn't enter the earth sauna). Now it's to my home to light some candles and drink soothing tea. Knowing I will return to this place many times in my life often makes me step a little lighter!"

"Just thought I'd let you know what a great time I had and that this (earth sauna) has changed me. Something that I wanted to say at the discussion Sunday: I have always believed that we are all connected at some level, and it was just a matter of time for this belief to become fact. It became that at the earth sauna Saturday night. Also, I had forgotten how it feels to be really 'together' with others, and it's a feeling I want to have again.

I know it might be a crude comparison, but when I was taking my cold shower at Camp Tuckabatchee (a lot of thoughts go thru my mind when I take showers) I thought of you. "I have joined the Mother Earth Spring Earth Sauna Sacred Gathering in May for several years now. It has become a springtime tradition that I look forward to every year. There are many things that I love about the whole experience: being in such a beautiful place and outside so much, meeting new and lovely people, being with old and cherished friends, working hard, but by far the most powerful thing for me that happens there is the community that we build. The fact that in just 24 short hours an incredibly varied group of people can build and supply and execute this beautiful ceremony, help each other in the ways we do and share our experiences and reactions in such a loving and supportive environment is just amazing to me. It speaks volumes to me every time about how very much we all have to give each other and how very much we gain from that giving. It has been a wonderful experience for me."

"Mother Earth Adventures provides me with experiential differences in my life's journey. By this I mean that I find the earth saunas offered by M.E.A. have been positive forces for growth in my spiritual quest.

In 1999, I went on a Vision Quest in New Mexico. Towards the end of that night, I heard with my inner ear the clamor of voices calling, "Come join us! Come join us!" Completely mystified, i continued on the religious track that I learned as a child -- your basic Christianity -- knowing that my path was a completely different one.

As the result of a traumatic event, I was led to Mother Earth Adventures. There has been no turning back! There was a fork in the road, and for this sojourner, the light was shining over the grassy, less-traveled path. The call of my heart is being answered as a result of my experiences in Mother Earth Adventure's earth saunas.

The community of people that I meet with at our earth saunas is refreshing. The earth saunas themselves are instructive, fulfilling, and all out fun!"

wonderful job of creating a safe, yet challenging, environment to do the
work you need to do. They don't prance around like new age "gurus," and
their depth of commitment to each of the participants is genuine.

We are fortunate to have Mother Earth Adventures in the Chicago area.
Sometimes we look to exotic or far away places for spiritual experiences,
but we have the opportunity to participate in these events right in our
own backyard. If I had known about the work that Terry, Carol, and Tom
facilitate, I wouldn't have gone all the way to Canada for my first
